How did you get into illustration as a profession? Did you go to art school or anything like that? Are you freelance? Sorry for all the random questions.
Hey, thanks for the questions! To be honest I’m not really a professional illustrator, my main job is computer programming, but I did take some time out not so long ago where I set up a website and printed a comic. I didn’t go to art school or anything but I did do art at high school, but I always got relatively low grades compared to my other subjects… I mainly got into illustration by doodling on schoolwork and post-it notes, then I came across this guy called Mike King who prints his own comics, which made me realise it was possible to ‘do it yourself’… Also I haven’t done any freelance work yet, but I would like to (hint hint everybody)…
